Penbergsey will reunite with Kidd and recently joined the Mavericks' assistant coach Frank Vogel, both of whom are members of the Lakers' 2020 championship coaching staff.
Since 2022, Pembersey has been the shooting coach of the Nuggets and won the 2023 championship with the team.
