Porter Jr. recently participated in Howard's podcast Above The Rim with DH 12, during which he talked about the Nuggets winning the championship in 2023.
"In the process of us winning the championship in 2023, the performance of role players such as Pope, Bruce Brown and others is crucial. I believe that a championship team needs to have 2 key factors: First, there are at least 1-2 reliable players in each position. Substitute; secondly, star players must clearly understand their roles and be able to coordinate perfectly with their teammates. In our team, Jokic has a strong passing ability. As long as his teammates stand in the right position, they can get the pass and score easily." Porter said.
