Corbe Radio reported that there are new developments in the "video scandal" case of Real Madrid player Raul Asensio. The second victim (a minor) has decided to drop all charges against him, including child pornography and leaking secrets.
The reason given by the victim is that Asensio's "behavior is completely different from other defendants" and he has apologized for this, admitted his "indiscretion" and compensated for the mental damage caused. It is worth noting that the victim did not withdraw the lawsuit against the other three people involved.
Although both victims have withdrawn their charges, the trial process will continue because the prosecution has previously submitted an indictment. Prosecutors will decide whether to drop the charges against Asensio at a subsequent trial. Currently, Asensio is facing a situation where neither victim has filed any civil or criminal charges against him.
The case stems from Asensio and three former Real Madrid youth training players being accused of recording and distributing sexually explicit videos of two women without permission. Asensio himself was accused of showing the video to a third party.
