Football Market reported that Besiktas is actively pushing for the signing of Okafor and has contacted his agent. At the same time, Leipzig also showed a strong interest in the player.

Naples gave up buying out Okafo for 23.5 million euros. Therefore, Okafor returned to Milan and will participate in the training camp on July 7. However, Milan head coach Allegri has made it clear that he will not reuse the player and his agent now needs to find new ways out for him.

Besiktas has issued a substantial offer to Okafo, submitting a lease contract with a non-mandatory buyout clause. Milan understood and considered the offer, but ultimately refused, hoping to wait for Besiktas to make a new offer on better terms.

Currently, the Ross and Blacks only accepts quotes with permanent transfers or with prone to force buyout terms. This is the clear position Milan has set for all teams that are interested in introducing Okafor.

On the other hand, Okafo himself is open to joining the Turkish League. Compared with South American team Flamenco, he prefers to continue to play in Europe. Besiktas has reportedly had new contact with Okafo’s team to explore the possibility of completing a transfer within the current transfer window. Besiktas hopes to loan the Milan striker, and Leipzig joins the battle.
