Schalke officially confirmed the end of its cooperation with lineup planning director Ben Manga. The club's board of directors decided to make structural adjustments to the scouts, transfer affairs and youth training camp areas. Ben Manga's responsibilities will be temporarily taken over by sports director Bowman.
Schalke hired Ben Manga last year to hold him responsible for rebuilding the team's lineup, but the massive lineup reform ended in failure, and the performance of many new players was disappointing.
