Corbe Radio anchor Dani Senabre expressed his views on Messi’s night visit to Camp Nou.
Messi recently posted a photo of himself at Camp Nou on social media with the text: "Last night I returned to a place that haunts me. I was extremely happy there, and you guys made me feel like the happiest person in the world. I hope one day I can come back again, not just to say goodbye, but as a player."
Dani Senabre expressed his views on this. Despite Messi's unhappy relationship with Laporta, Senabre believes Messi's love for Barcelona is stronger.
The possibility of Messi returning as a player
Senabre completely ruled out the possibility of Messi taking on a management role at Barcelona in the short term. "Frankly, I don't think Messi will be involved in any Barcelona campaign or leadership activities. Obviously, his relationship with Laporta is not good, so he will not be involved in the management of the club."
In fact, this commentator firmly believes that Messi does not want to participate in any form of Barcelona farewell event. "He doesn't want any memorial games or concerts."
Dream of the last journey
According to Senabre, Messi's real intention is to put on the Barcelona jersey again and compete on the green field again. He believes the World Cup winner is still keen to play another season, or even half a season, at Barcelona.
For Messi, Barcelona's farewell event does not appeal to him because he still sees himself with the mentality of an active player. "Messi still sees himself as a player. I think through this photo and this text, what Messi wants to express is that he still wants to play for Barcelona as a player. I think Messi is still thinking about it, I don't know whether it is a season or half a season."
Dani Senabre's analysis and remarks undoubtedly make Barcelona fans look forward to seeing their greatest idol again.
