Milan President Paul Scaroni talked about the future of San Siro Stadium in an interview with Mediaset. He expressed optimism about the results of the municipal council vote before Milan's Cup against Lecce, and mentioned the architectural design of the new stadium.

He said: "I have great optimism and confidence, because the city council will eventually approve the project."

About San Siro Stadium: "I have been paying attention to this issue for many years, at least 4 to 5 years. I feel like we are close to the finish line and I am confident that I can achieve the goal. We need a new stadium, not only for Milan and Inter, but also for the entire city and international events. I can't imagine that Milan does not have a stadium that can host various cup games and national team games."

About the construction company responsible for the design: "I keep saying that I want to build the most beautiful stadium in Europe in Milan and we want to have an amazing stadium. To do this, we have selected the best architects in the world, Norman Foster and MANICA. Norman Foster is a star in the world's architecture and they have demonstrated their abilities in several stadium projects. Norman Foster was responsible for the design of the new Wembley Stadium, a soccer mecca, and a wonderful new facility built after the demolition of the old stadium."
