Former Liverpool meritorious coach Klopp accepted an exclusive interview with The Athletic, saying that he is unlikely to return to coaching in the short term. The following are excerpts from some of the interviews.
Klopp said: "I don't feel like I've missed anything in my life because I've never thought about these things," Klopp said. "So I've only attended two weddings in the past 25 years, one of my own, and the other two months ago. In 25 years, I've only been to the cinemas, all in the past eight weeks. It feels good to do these things now."
"As a coach, I've been to many different countries, but I know almost nothing about these countries; I've only seen hotels, stadiums or training grounds, and nothing else. I didn't feel sorry at that time, but now I'll (it's a pity)."
58-year-old Klopp stepped down as head coach of Liverpool in May 2024. He coached the Reds for nine years, and his reason for resigning was "burnout." He has since been the head of football affairs for Red Bull Group and its series of clubs.
