According to Inter Milan News, Inter Milan's newly signed Croatian midfielder Peta Susic was interviewed and talked about topics such as his growth experience.
About my own growth experience
I grew up in a small village and lived with my family. We have a small farm where my father likes to raise cattle and has several cows at home. When I was a child, sometimes I would milk my father in the morning. I like that kind of life and I feel like I have had a very happy time. I was very happy at that time when I stayed outdoors all day and I would never forget this experience in my life.
Regarding my debut in the Champions League last season for Dynamo Zagreb, I thought the game would be cancelled in the end. As a result, we finally stepped onto the field, and I also scored one of the most exciting goals in my life, a night I will remember forever.
What is your life outside the arena?
I don't like wasting time on social media, which is a useful tool, but at the same time, you may also waste five hours on it. For me, I prefer to live a real life. We are always in the media spotlight, and for me, after a game or a training session, I just want to let go of my mind, relax and spend time with my family, which is one of the reasons why I don’t use social media.
About his cousin/Luca Susic, who is now playing football at Real Sociedad (Luca Susic and Peta Susic are now Croatian internationals)
He grew up in Austria. Every year whenever he has time, he will come to see me, and we still play football together like when we were a child. (Being able to be a professional player and join the national team) We are very proud of ourselves and our families are also proud of us. When we were kids, we would watch games on TV together, and now we are playing side by side with the national team, which is a very special story for me.
About my experience in the Croatian national team
I love the national team very much. Whenever I step onto the arena in the national team jersey, I am the happiest person in the world. I enjoy every time I fight for the country, and I have never felt that kind of happiness.
